How we keep you safe online

It is a top priority for us to keep you safe while you are banking online.

When logging onto 365 online we will always ask you for:

    1. Your full User ID
    2. Either your date of birth OR the last four digits of your phone number - never both
    3. 3 random digits from your six digit PIN (Personal Identification Number) - never more, never less
    • 365 online uses the highest available level of encryption - this secures all information transmitted between you and us. The information is scrambled preventing any third party from viewing or manipulating your banking details.
    • 365 online is protected by more firewalls which form a barrier between the outside internet and the internal bank network
    • 365 online uses an extra security mechanism for setting up online payments and standing orders (2 factor authentication). If you want to set up an instruction to make a new payment online you will need to register the details of your new beneficiary with us. As an extra security measure we will send you a confirmation letter with a seven digit One Time Activation Code. You will need to enter this code to authenticate your new beneficiary before you can make a payment. You only have to do this once. Once set up your new beneficiary is there to make payments to at any time.
    • Your 365 online session will automatically timeout after 5 minutes of inactivity. This is an added security precaution in case you forget to log out. To enter 365 online again, you will need to log on using your PIN, User ID and security details.
