How do I apply for a mortgage in the mortgage hub?
The process works like this:- We will ask you some questions to see if you are eligible to apply for a mortgage online. If you are eligible, you will then be asked to register for the mortgage hub. Once registered you can start the application process.
- The application process starts with some questions about your personal and financial details which, when answered, enable us to determine which mortgage types will best suit your needs.
- You will then select the type of mortgage you’re happy with.
- Once you've confirmed your selection, we will then ask you some more questions about your finances and the property you would like to buy.
- You will submit your full application and upload any supporting documents to accompany it. Once submitted, one of our underwriting team will review your full application.
- If your mortgage is approved, we will send you a Letter of Offer and send your legal pack to your solicitor, who will need to complete and return it to us.
- Once your credit and legal documents have been returned and approved, we’ll release your funds to your solicitor.
