Closing an account used to pay a loan or mortgage

You must re-direct your direct debit or standing order instructions to an alternative account to ensure your future loan or mortgage payments are paid. Please contact the lending bank to arrange this.

Remember:You should cancel all standing orders and/or direct debits before submitting the close account request. Once the account closure form has been processed, no further standing order and/or direct debit payments or card transactions will be paid from the account.
