What is the difference between my Interest Advice Statement, Fees Advice Statement and Statement of Fees?

Fee Advice Statement:

Your fee advice statement provides a detailed breakdown of the maintenance and transaction fees that have accrued on a quarterly basis and were charged to your account approximately one month later. These fees appear as one line item on your account statement as “Current Account Fees” or “Notified Fees”.

Interest Advice Statement:

Your interest advice statement provides a breakdown of the interest that accrued over the previous interest quarter and was charged to your account approximately one month later. You will only receive an interest advice statement if the quarterly interest you are paying is €12.70 or more.

Statement of Fees:

Your Statement of Fees provides a breakdown of all the fees, charges and interest that have been charged to your account over the relevant statement period, which is typically a 12 month period. This includes other fees that are in addition to the fees and interest that are shown in your fee and interest advice statements.

On 23 November 2020, we introduced a single monthly fee for maintaining the account of €6, eliminating 26 individual fees and charges. This fee will appear as one line item on your account statement as “FEE: MAINTAINING ACC”. This also means that after this date, you will no longer be charged the old-style quarterly transaction fees. As a result, we will no longer be issuing fee advice statements and the last fee advice statement you will receive will relate the quarter fee period, 24 August 2020 - 20 November 2020.
