Bank of Ireland announces new appointment

Bank of Ireland today (Friday 14 March 2008) announced the appointment of Brendan Nevin as Director – Personal Lending. In his new role, he will also become Managing Director of ICS Building Society and Managing Director of Bank of Ireland Mortgage Bank. He will take up his new position on 3 April 2008.

Brendan’s current role in Bank of Ireland is as Director of Strategy & Marketing for the retail division in Ireland. Prior to this he held various senior management roles including in Eircom Limited and Coca-Cola.

Personal Lending is the Bank’s multi-channel, multi-product business, which includes mortgages, credit cards, personal and motor loans, overdrafts and general insurance. The business contributes significantly to the Bank of Ireland Group from both an earnings and book quality perspective and has set itself ambitious growth plans for the future.
