Result of Annual General Court

Bank of Ireland announces that, at the Annual General Court held earlier today, all of the Resolutions proposed were duly passed.

The full text of each resolution was set out in the Circular to stockholders which was posted to stockholders on 4 June 2009.

Copies of the Resolutions have been forwarded to the Irish Stock Exchange and the UK Listing Authority and will shortly be available to the public for inspection at the following locations:
