Bank of Ireland Tinahely – closed until further notice.
As a result of a serious but unsuccessful criminal attack on Sunday 1stMay 2011 the Bank of Ireland branch at Tinahely, Co. Wicklow, sustained severe and extensive structural damage rendering the branch and ATM inoperable.
Commenting on the attack Kate O’Donnell, Regional Manager South Leinster, said: “We are very conscious that Bank of Ireland is the only bank serving the community of Tinahely and its environs. Therefore, we want to take this opportunity to confirm that we remain absolutely committed to a presence in the town and advise that plans are already underway for the reconstruction of our branch.
