Fast-tracked current account opening with one phone call
60 branches opening late to welcome new customers

Bank of Ireland is committed to serving new customers and switchers through our 250+ branches nationwide and our multi- channel banking facilities. We have seen an unprecedented number of customers switching to us during the last couple of months and in response to this surge in activity we have introduced a number of new initiatives to make switching and account opening more convenient for customers.

Opening a current account is as easy as making one phone call
We have a dedicated account opening line in place for new customers who can call us on 1890 354 454 (Mon to Fri 08.00 – 20.00, Sat & Sun 10.00 – 18.00) and we will give the customer their account number over the phone. At their convenience, they can then drop into their chosen branch to provide the required identification to activate their account. Any new customer who may not have made provisions for the cessation of their current banking facilities is encouraged to contact us immediately and get their new account number within minutes. 60 Bank of Ireland Branches Open Until 8pm Every Thursday in February, 8 locations open Saturdays
60 of our Branches are opening late every Thursday in February. These branches are located close to locations where other providers have ceased to trade and our staff will be on hand to help with customer queries and support their switch to Bank of Ireland. We also open in eight locations on Saturdays. See link attached.

Switching Hub on Grafton St
We have also opened a dedicated switching hub in our Enterprise Lounge on Dublin’s Grafton Street, which will be open early mornings Tues, Weds and Friday, as well as late evenings Thursdays and 10am to 2pm on Saturdays.
