Bank of Ireland announces its ‘Sponsor for a Day’ Rugby winners

Bank of Ireland today announced that Acutrace is the Leinster winner and CelgenTek Ltd is the Munster winner of its ‘Sponsor for a Day’ rugby competition. This is the third year of the competition, which was open to businesses across Ireland. The prize includes the right for the two winning companies to have their logos displayed across the Leinster and Munster rugby players’ jerseys for a European Rugby Champions Cup match in January 2016. Acutrace will sponsor the Leinster rugby team for the Leinster v Bath game in the RDS, Dublin and CelgenTek Ltd will sponsor the Munster rugby team for the Munster v Stade Francais game at Thomond Park, Limerick. Both games will be broadcast live on SKY. The total value of the prize is c. €50,000.

Acutrace is a new Irish start-up company in the energy technology sector. The company is 100% Irish owned and launched its MVAC software at the Energy Show in March 2015. Acutrace have developed software and hardware solutions for energy monitoring in commercial and industrial buildings. The software allows users to measure, visualise, analyse and control their energy costs. This software can also be used to develop a complete smart building solution incorporating all the technologies used in modern building automation. Acutrace can measure all utilities including electricity, water, gas, and oil and can also monitor and control essential building systems such as back-up generators, fire alarms and intelligent lighting systems.

The total prize is valued at €50,000.
