Bank of Ireland Appoints Susan Russell as Retail Ireland CEO

 

Bank of Ireland has announced the appointment of Susan Russell as Chief Executive of the Retail Ireland division of Bank of Ireland Group.

The Retail Ireland division provides a wide range of consumer banking products, services and channels. Along with the provision of mortgages, current accounts and personal loans Retail Ireland includes a 169-strong branch network, the Bank’s ATM network, day-to-day digital banking channels, a network of contact centres, and New Ireland Assurance. In total, more than 4,000 colleagues work in Retail Ireland with activities spread across every county in Ireland.

Myles O’Grady, Group CEO of Bank of Ireland commented: “I am delighted to announce Susan Russell as the new CEO of the Retail Ireland division. Susan’s depth of knowledge, coupled with her energy, will be invaluable over the coming period.

Susan joined Bank of Ireland in 2000. She has previously held senior positions in Retail Banking, Finance, Digital, Strategy and Operations.
