Navigating the app and 365 online
Our online banking websites and apps are designed to make banking easy and also secure. We use secure webpages and apps so some buttons you may use in other websites or apps may not work for the Bank of Ireland app or 365 online.Choose a channel below for tips to best navigate your online accounts.
The Bank of Ireland app allows you to access your online account within an app on your smart phone or tablet device. We advise using only the options available within the app, such as buttons and menus, to navigate the app and access your online account. Please see advise on how to navigate the Bank of Ireland app
- You can use a keyboard or Number pad on your smartphone to type numbers or digits into the relevant screens.
- You should avoid using a back button on your smart device to return to a previous screen.
- You should avoid using any button on your smart device's Keyboard or Number pad to confirm or progress to the next screen such as 'Go' or 'Enter'. Close the keyboard to view all options on screen then use the buttons provided.
365 online allows you to access your online account using browser such as Chrome or Internet Explorer.
- We advise using only the buttons and menus available on the secure webpages.
- Any browser navigation such as the back button/reload button (or their keyboard shortcuts) will cause your secure session to close. You will need to log into 365 online again to access your accounts.
