Manage standing orders

Not all recurring payments are actually standing orders, they could be direct debits, or subscriptions.

I'm not sure what payment type it is but I want to cancel it. - Republic of Ireland customers only.

If you are sure it is a direct debit, you should use the Bank of Ireland app or 365 online.

Set up a standing order

Amend or cancel a standing order:

Changes must be made at least 3 working days before their due date and will take 1 day to appear online.

  • Select Payments in the menu
  • Select Standing orders
  • Choose an account
  • Select manage
  • Choose what you want to do: Amend the amount, cancel, or hold/remove hold
  • If you choose amend or hold/remove hold: Enter 3 digits of your 365 PIN and swipe to accept.
  • Follow the rest of the steps on screen
