Manage standing orders
Not all recurring payments are actually standing orders, they could be direct debits, or subscriptions.
I'm not sure what payment type it is but I want to cancel it. - Republic of Ireland customers only.
If you are sure it is a direct debit, you should use the Bank of Ireland app or 365 online.
Amend or cancel a standing order:
Changes must be made at least 3 working days before their due date and will take 1 day to appear online.
- Select Payments in the menu
- Select Standing orders
- If you are unable to select a standing order, it may be a loan repayment. You cannot amend or cancel a loan standing order online.
- Choose an account
- Select manage
- Choose what you want to do: Amend the amount, cancel, or hold/remove hold
- If you choose amend or hold/remove hold: Enter 3 digits of your 365 PIN and swipe to accept.
- Follow the rest of the steps on screen
- Select Payments in the menu
- Select Standing orders

- Select manage
- Choose what you want to do: Amend the amount, cancel, or hold/remove hold
- Follow the rest of the steps on screen

- Tap the notification on your nominated security device for example your phone, and swipe to accept.
